Author Guidelines

Al Wasil Journal is a peer-reviewed research journal published by Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syekh Wasil Kediri twice a year, in June and December. The journal publishes original research articles within the scope of Arabic language and Arabic language education that have not been previously published or are not under consideration for publication in any other book or scholarly journal.

Manuscript Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian, Arabic, or English.

  • Use Sakkal Majalla font, size 16, with 1.0 line spacing.

  • The file must be in .doc, .docx, or .rtf format, prepared using Microsoft Word.

  • Manuscripts should be 3,500–7,000 words in length.

  • Each manuscript must include the following sections:

    • Title

    • Abstract

    • Keywords

    • Introduction

    • Research Methodology

    • Results & Discussion

    • Conclusion

    • References

Referencing and Citations

  • All citations and references must follow the APA style.

  • Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software, such as Mendeley or Zotero, to ensure consistency.

Originality and Review

  • Manuscripts must be original and must not have been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
