Journal History

  1. SITTAH: Journal of Primary Education is published by the Institute for Research and Community Service, Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Kediri, Indonesia. It was first published in 2020.
  2. Starting in April 2022, our OJS has been migrated from OJS 2 to OJS 3.3.0.10. This upgrade will further stabilize the publishing process, ensuring a more consistent workflow and improved process and quality.
  3. Starting June 2022, the editor of SITTAH has changed the article template. Basic changes are applied to the article's information, layout, and appearance to make it more informative and easier to read. The new article template will be used starting with Volume 3 (1), 2022, and can be downloaded here.
  4. In April 2023, the SITTAH was accredited as SINTA 4 by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, based on Director Decree No. 230/E/KPT/2022, covering Volumes 2 (1) 2021 to 6 (2) 2025. Click here for the Accreditation Certificate.
  5. In January 2026, SITTAH was accepted for inclusion in DOAJ. 
  6. In July 2026, SITTAH was upgraded from SINTA 4 to SINTA 3 in the national journal accreditation system, in accordance with Decree No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026 of the Director General of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. This accreditation is valid from Volume 6, Issue 2 (2025) through Volume 11, Issue 1 (2030).
