Aims and Scope
Allimna: Jurnal Pendidikan Profesi Guru is a peer-reviewed journal specializing in research on teacher professionalism and the contextual transformation of Islamic education. The journal is committed to advancing scholarly discourse on how teacher education, both in theory and practice, can be developed, transformed, and contextualized in response to contemporary educational, cultural, and religious challenges. Grounded in the integration of Islamic values, educational sciences, and local wisdom, Allimna serves as an academic platform for exploring innovative models of teacher development in diverse socio-cultural settings, particularly within Islamic education systems.
The scope of Allimna includes, but is not limited to: contextualized approaches to professional teacher education; curriculum development and pedagogical innovation based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE); reflective teaching practices and clinical supervision; digital transformation in teacher training; policy analysis and governance of professional teacher education; ethical and character education rooted in Islamic and multicultural values; and the intersection of teacher professionalism with religious moderation and civic engagement. The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary and comparative studies that explore the dynamics of teacher identity, educational leadership, and policy reforms in Muslim-majority societies and beyond.
Through these focus areas, Allimna aims to contribute to the global discourse on teacher education by providing locally grounded yet globally relevant perspectives. It invites submissions from scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and teacher educators who are engaged in transforming the landscape of professional education for teachers through critical, contextual, and innovative approaches.
