Monitoring and evaluation constitute essential management functions in education, providing evidence to assess program achievement, support decision-making, and promote continuous improvement. In the context of madrasahs, religious programs play a strategic role in fostering students’ character, spirituality, and religious values. MAS Al Huda Bandung Regency implements various religious programs; however, the planning of monitoring and evaluation for these programs warrants further examination in relation to effective madrasah management. This study aimed to analyze the planning of monitoring and evaluation of religious programs and its contribution to the effectiveness of madrasah management. A qualitative approach was employed using the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) evaluation model. Data were collected through interviews with five informants, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that monitoring and evaluation were systematically incorporated from the initial planning stage and supported by clearly defined roles, administrative documents, evaluation forums, and follow-up mechanisms. These findings suggest that monitoring and evaluation planning serves as an effective managerial instrument for organizational control, evidence-based decision-making, and continuous improvement in enhancing the effectiveness of madrasah management.
